Food & drink in Motala
A food area focused on “grab and go” food, snacks, drinks, pastries, coffee, and ice cream is available in Stadsparken at the Event Area.
Set up for a bike party in ‘The Barn’ (‘Ladan’)
Motala transforms into a true festival city when Vätternrundan rolls in – and last year’s success is back! The square will be filled with market stalls, a carnival, live music, and entertainment. All to create an unforgettable weekend in celebration of Vätternrundan’s anniversary.
In the heart of the festivities stands our popular gathering spot, “Ladan” – a large party tent designed to look like a classic Swedish barn. Here, you’ll find light meals, refreshing drinks, and an atmosphere reminiscent of a barn dance – with live bands, joy, and camaraderie all evening long.
So whether you’re a cyclist, a supporter, or simply love when Motala is buzzing with life – the square is the place to be. Experience the celebration, cheer on the cyclists, and enjoy a weekend filled with energy, joy, and community!
See the full program below – we’ll see you at the square!
Friday
11:00 AM: The carnival and market open.
5:00 PM: Ladan opens for serving food and drinks, with an outdoor seating area if the weather permits.
